RIGHT CLICK MENU EXPOSED (WIN11) - v1.156
====================================================

WHAT IT DOES
------------
Windows 11 replaced the old right-click menu with a shorter one and hid the
rest behind "Show more options". Right Click Menu Exposed disables that modern
menu so the full classic (Windows 10-style) context menu appears straight away.

It is a single registry change. No installer, no service, no background
process, nothing left running.

THE REGISTRY KEY
----------------
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\
      {86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32

That CLSID is the shell extension Windows 11 uses to draw the modern context
menu. Setting its (Default) value to an empty string makes Windows fall back
to the classic menu. Deleting the key puts the modern menu back.

FILES
-----
  1 - Restore Classic Right Click Menu.reg
        Apply the tweak
2 - Undo Restore Classic Right Click Menu.reg
        Undo it

  LICENSE.txt MIT license

HOW TO APPLY
------------
1. Double-click "1 - Restore Classic Right Click Menu.reg"
2. Approve the prompts: Run -> Yes -> Yes -> OK
3. Restart Explorer so the change takes effect:
     Ctrl+Shift+Esc  ->  find "Windows Explorer"  ->  right-click  ->  Restart
(or just sign out and back in)

Right-click any file in File Explorer. You should now get the full menu with
no "Show more options" at the bottom.

TO UNDO
-------
Double-click "2 - Undo Restore Classic Right Click Menu.reg", approve the
prompts, and restart Explorer again. The Windows 11 menu comes back.

NOTES
-----
- Applies to the CURRENT USER only (HKEY_CURRENT_USER). No admin rights needed.
- Affects File Explorer context menus. Desktop right-click is not changed.
- Works on Windows 11 23H2, 24H2 and 25H2.
- On 26H2 (build 26340.9212 and later) this tweak is no longer needed:
  Settings > Personalization > Context menu has a built-in
  "Show more options" toggle.
- No registry change required at all if you just want it occasionally:
hold SHIFT while right-clicking for the classic menu on demand.
- If Windows blocks the downloaded .reg file, right-click it, choose
  Properties, tick "Unblock", then OK.

DISCLAIMER
----------
This modifies the Windows registry. It only touches the key listed above and
is fully reversible with the included undo file, but you apply it at your own
risk. Back up the key first if you want extra peace of mind.
