A single registry file that brings back the full right-click context menu in Windows 11 — no "Show more options" step, nothing left running.
⬇ Download v1.156Double-click a .reg file and the full classic menu is back. No installer, no setup wizard, no reboot.
A matched undo file puts the Windows 11 menu back exactly as it was. Nothing is permanently changed.
Writes to HKEY_CURRENT_USER. No admin rights needed, no other accounts affected, no TrustedInstaller ownership fight.
It is a registry value, not a program. Nothing runs, nothing polls, no service, no tray icon, no telemetry.
The whole tweak is a handful of plain-text lines. Open it in Notepad and read exactly what it does before you run it.
Works across the current Windows 11 releases. Also fine on Windows 10, where the classic menu is already the default.
Download the zip and extract it anywhere — your Downloads folder is fine.
Double-click 1 - Restore Classic Right Click Menu.reg and approve the prompts (Run, Yes, Yes, OK).
Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, find Windows Explorer, right-click and choose Restart. That's it — right-click any file and the full menu is there.
Free. No registration. No data collection. Just a zip file with the registry files and a README.
⬇ Download v1.156Licensed under the MIT License. Every line is plain text — extract the zip and read it before you run it.
Registry key touched:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32
The {86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2} CLSID is the shell extension Windows 11 uses to draw its modern context menu. Setting its InprocServer32 default value to an empty string makes Windows fall back to the classic menu. The undo file deletes the key, and the modern menu returns.
